Sustainability

                                          Made in NYC

We're dedicated to limiting the environmental impact of our actions by seeking greener sourcing chains for the raw materials we use in the garments and using non-plastic, bio-degradable shipping materials.

Our garments are locally made in small runs here in New York City. Our cotton pants and shorts use USA-milled *GOTS certified Organic Cotton fabrics that are treated with low-impact, non-toxic dyes, and inks. Our cotton shirts and all custom print fabrics are made with either **BCI or Organic cotton and, along with our cotton pants, are ***OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certified. Our linen is woven in Belgium, printed, dyed, and finished in the USA.

We trust that small choices add up and that many are mighty. By increasing demand for more eco-friendly raw materials and manufacturing practices, we can help this industry adapt to climate change challenges.

Oeko-Tex Standard 100 & GOTS Certified

*Global Organic Textile Standard(GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria, backed by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.

**Better Cotton Initiative(BCI) uses a holistic approach to sustainable cotton production, which covers all three pillars of sustainability: environmental, social, and economic. The system is designed to ensure the exchange of good practices and to encourage the scaling up of collective action to establish Better Cotton as a sustainable mainstream commodity.

The fundamental principles of the BCI are crop protection, water usage, soil health, biodiversity, fiber quality, and decent working conditions. All BCI cotton is produced on verified cotton farms.

***STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX is one of the world's best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances.
